Tonight (Feb. 24/2024) I sell for the first time without my dad, at least in the living. It’s a weird feeling, since we worked about a gazillion auctions together over several decades.
I can’t wait to sell the Swisher (IA) men’s club sportsman auction, which I have every year since leaving the city 5 years ago. Dad caught bids one year and I’ll miss his presence. No matter, I’m ready to roll. The next auction is always the biggest one.
